OnePlus Phones is very easy to root / unlock, besides you do not lose your warranty while unlocking / root your phone. So, it’s not really surprising why this phone receives, all of this is gaining love! Almost, every single day, a developer comes up with a new trick / mod, the same oneplus makes 3/3 t even better, thanks to the member of the XDA Forum ungeeked! His latest mod is about to adding a custom background in Quick Settings panel OnePlus 3/3T, So let’s checkout how to add custom background in quick setting panel on OnePlus 3/3T.



Before starting the tutorial, you have to download the files below. These are the files which we’re going to flash in TWRP recovery.

Below are two zip files that contain 13 images, which have cropped to full resolution 1080 × 800 pixels for this mode. Just place them inside the QS folder (one at a time, mentioned below with the correct name) and start flashing!

Step to add Custom Background in Quick Settings Panel | OnePlus 3/3T: 

Step 1. Download all the above files and copy them to your device’s internal storage.

Step 2. Next, create a new folder on your device’s internal storage (path: sdcard/) and name the folder QS. It is very important that the name and location of the folder are exactly mentioned above. Otherwise, the mod will not work and may cause unexpected results.

Step 3. Next, Copy any image inside the QS folder which you want as a background wallpaper in Quick Setting Panel. The following must be followed with respect to the file:

  • The file must be in .png format. If not, you can easily convert jpg files to png format online.
  • The name of the file must be ‘customqs.png’ (of course, without the quotes).
  • Recommend dimension of the images are 1080×800 pixels, for optimal results. Tip: Use any photo editing app on your phone (Example: Snapseed) to crop the photo you like.

Step 4. Once all the above steps completed as mentioned, you are now ready to flash the zip file. Now turn off your device and boot it into fastboot mode by holding volume up + power.

Step 5. Next, select recovery mode from the fastboot section (use Volume Rockers to navigate and Power Button to select)

Step 6. After Successfully booted into TWRP recovery, tap on “Install” from the available options and navigate to the directory where you placed the “” on step 1.

Step 7. Final, after selecting the “” file “swipe right to flash it” and wait for few min. Then, head back to the TWRP’s main screen and Click on Reboot» System.

Every time you need a new background for your Quick Settings panel, change the image in the QS folder (be sure to follow all the rules) and flash the ‘’ file via recovery again.


Revert back to stock:

If you face any problem or getting unexpected results, just reboot in TWRP Recovery and flash ‘’ which we previously downloaded. Everything should be back to normal.
